Living in Wolf Country

Got this from some friends of ours who live in my hometown of Hoyt Lakes, MN (http://www.hoytlakes.com). Wolves are starting to take over...
Ellen and I were on our way to Two Harbors to view the fall colors when out of the ditch we were charged at by what appeared to be a black and gray dog. The black one was leading the and it continued to chase us down the road a distance. The gray one went behind the black one and disappeared into the woods on the West side of the road, At that point I told Ellen they weren't dogs, but timber wolves. Just then a car came from the South and he (the Black Wolf) had another car to chase, which he did. I stopped our car and Ellen dug the camera out, while a second car from the South slowed down and moved right up to the Wolf and stopped. The Black Wolf just stood there and looked at the car. The Gray Wolf did not reappear. The pictures I got were after the Black Wolf chased us and the first car from the South had been chased and he was setting himself up in the ditch for the second car that was coming from the South. With the second car slowing down, the Wolf didn't have any fun chasing cars I guess so he walked out onto the road.

Oh! we have more falls colors in Hoyt Lakes than the route to Two Harbors.

We have a big problem with coyotes here. I was shocked one morning to be driving down the street and seeing two walking right at me. We think Howie (sniffle, sniffle) fell prey to one of those scrawny bastards. Lets bring back trapping! Sorry, those nature loving nuts (insert looney-left here) think its better to just let them do their thing.
