Why does each journal require a different formatting style? Does it really matter if the title of an article in in lower or uppercase letters? Seriously. This makes me crabby.
BTW, I am working on an EndNote style for Criminology. The new style is much improved from 5 years ago, but there are still a few details that need to be added to the traditional Chicago template. Let me know if you have developed a style for another journal - I could really use one for CPP.

Very frustrating, indeed.
We recently made the switch to a Mac in our house. (Guess all of those cheeky "I'm a Mac/I'm a PC" commercials are effective after all.) But, one of my stipulations for agreeing to the switch was that EndNote had to be available in Mac format. Annoying though it can be at times, it definitely is a time-saver in the long run, I think...
DEATH TO ENDNOTE DEATH TO ENDNOTE!!!
That program creates more problems than it solves in my view. IN THEORY it should be great...but like a lot of CJ programming, it falls short in practice...
One of my colleagues discovered Zotero last week (www.zotero.org). If you run Mozilla, it is an application to help you organize references, including organizing pdfs you download. Like endnote, it manages citations and can output in various formats (not perfect, I'm told, but pretty good). You can also create notes in your pdf (much like you might do comments in a word doc) and highlight passages. If you are moving digital with your reference library, it might be worth and spin and I'm told you can import your Endnote files.
I have downloaded the application, but haven't done anything with it as yet. Was Nurse Cranky for a sick spouse/kids last week into the weekend and am now Patient Cranky myself. When I'm not under the influence of cold medication and 6000psi of sinus pressure, I will check it out.
