Halloween S.O. Laws

So...It appears that not only is Dr. H. a talented criminologist, she should also dive into the world of constitutional law. Apparently, a judge in Missouri has ruled that the Halloween restrictions placed on sex offenders are unconstitutional due to vagueness and overbreadth. Makes one wonder if an MSU CJ alum became a judge in St. Louis??????

LOL! I assure you that I am not moonlighting as a federal judge in Missouri...though I appreciate the vote of confidence!

Seriously, though, I'm happy to see some acknowledgment that these restrictions are overly broad. Now if only we'd see some recognition that they're not evidence-based, either...
