Friday CJ Funnies: Up in Smoke

With the recent passage of Proposal 1 in Michigan allowing use of medical marijuana, I thought this clip would be an appropriate Friday CJ Funny for today. Please enjoy another installment of the "Nailed 'Em" series from the Colbert Report...and do try not to let your Friday go up in smoke!

P.S. "Tokemaster Backache" -- LOL!

Medical Marijuana and the Full Faith and Credit Clause...

A hint to those who are prescribed medical marijuana, don't cross state lines with your "medicine." While my personal opinions of the various drug laws around the country are far left, just realize that your state prescription is not a license to transport it across state lines, as some states (Arizona at least) do not recognize the possession of MJ as legal and charge FELONIES for such possession and even for possession of drug paraphernalia (ie: bongs, pipes, papers, wrappers, etc.)!

Be careful out there medicinal tokers.

The law is interesting, and not what I expected. There's no prescription, per se. If you are in need of medical marijuana, you ask your doctor to send a letter to the state. If the state approves, you receive a card. Cardholders can legally possess or grow marijuana, but not buy it. So, it's still a crime to buy marijuana in Michigan.

as the video demonstrates, the DEA doesn't care about your stupid state laws
