His points are excellent.<BR/><BR/>I never thought I'd say this, but MAN I wish I was teaching methods right now. This would be an excellent assignment for students -- have them provide a list of reasons why such crime statistics are not particularly meaningful, as well as alternative measures that would provide a more accurate picture of city crime rates, and why.
