December Already?!

Where has the time gone?! It's been over a week since our last post...and it's already December! I have been slammed with end of the semester craziness -- this is our last week of classes, then final exams are next week. Then the rest of December will be spent getting manuscripts sent out for review and wrapping up a grant application. Busy, busy!

Meanwhile, I've got a lightning round in the works -- look for it soon. There's been a lot of good crime news to discuss recently -- I just wish I had more time to discuss it!

Today the GBOC celebrates its first birthday. Woo hoo! It was a year ago today that our first post -- about clemency in Colorado -- was published by Velma. Conceived at an MSU-SCJ picnic last summer ("We should start a crime blog!" "Oh yeah, that'd be cool!"), our humble blog has grown quite a bit over the last year. Thanks to all of my fellow bloggers, and to our readers for commenting, contributing post ideas, and helping us celebrate one year of bloggerdom!
